1. Agreement
By creating an account or using Letterstory, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Letterstory is operated by The Letter Company.
2. Description of Service
Letterstory is an AI-powered content editing and publishing platform. The service allows you to:
- Create and manage content within organizations.
- Process content through AI-powered flows that provide editing suggestions, SEO analysis, and content grading.
- Generate data visualizations (tables and Venn diagrams) and images from content using AI.
- Import content from and publish content to connected platforms, including Notion, Contentful, Webflow, Sanity, Framer, and Google Docs.
- Deploy hosted blogs or sites and connect or register custom domains.
- Access the service programmatically through API keys, including via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Share results via public links and invite guest reviewers.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and password, or sign in with Google, to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and any API keys you create. You must be at least 18 years old to use Letterstory.
Organization administrators are responsible for managing member access and permissions within their organization.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you create, upload, or import into Letterstory, including edits, images, and organizational branding assets.
By using Letterstory, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content as necessary to provide the service. This includes sending content to our AI providers for processing, and sending content to a connected platform when you import from or publish to it.
5. AI-Generated Content
Letterstory uses third-party AI providers to generate editing suggestions, SEO analysis, content grades, data tables, Venn diagrams, and images. AI-generated content is provided "as is" and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before publishing or relying on it.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Letterstory to process or publish content that violates applicable laws, infringes on intellectual property rights, or contains harmful material.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication mechanisms, or security controls.
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or bulk-access the service outside of the documented API and your authorized API keys.
- Share your account credentials or API keys with others or allow unauthorized access.
- Use a connected integration to access workspaces, sites, or pages you are not authorized to access.
7. Publishing, Deployments & Domains
When you publish to a connected platform or deploy a hosted blog or site, you are responsible for the content you publish and for complying with the terms of any destination platform. Deployed sites are hosted through our hosting provider.
If you register a domain through the service, the registration is fulfilled by a third-party registrar and is subject to the registrar's terms. Domain registration and renewal fees are non-refundable third-party charges, and domain purchases are subject to spending limits we may apply.
8. Shared Content & Guest Access
When you enable sharing on a flow run or other content, a public link is generated that allows anyone with the link to view the results without authentication. When you invite a guest reviewer, they can access the shared content using their email and a PIN. You are responsible for managing who you share links with and whom you invite. You can disable sharing, regenerate a share link, or revoke a reviewer's access at any time to revoke previous access.
9. Third-Party Integrations
Letterstory integrates with third-party services, including Notion, Contentful, Webflow, Sanity, Framer, Google, and domain registrars. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective third party's terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.
You may disconnect third-party integrations at any time through your organization settings.
10. Service Availability
We strive to keep Letterstory available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. AI and integration features depend on the availability of third-party services.
11. Limitation of Liability
Letterstory is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Letter Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, content, or business opportunities.
12. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms on this page with a revised date. Your continued use of Letterstory after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
