Finding your way around the app
The header, the Primitives menu, how to pin your own tabs, and where the things you'll use most actually live.
Everything hangs off one header at the top. Left to right:
- Logo: takes you to Collections (
/dashboard). - Dashboard (
/summary): shown only if your workspace has the summary dashboard. When it does, Context lives inside it rather than as its own tab. - Instances (
/instances): every primitive, dependency and link in your account, beside your agent. Always there. - Your pinned tabs: by default Context, Collections and Measure.
- Primitives ▾: everything else (below).
The Primitives menu
It has three groups. Anything here can be pinned to the header.

Some items only appear for accounts that have them: Site Audits is in beta, and Proofs is shown only to accounts on the Proofs beta (for them it is always a header tab).
All tools at the top of the menu opens the full directory (/tools), with a search box.
Customize your header
Open /tools (from All tools, or the account menu's Customize header) and press the pin next to any item. Pinned items become header tabs; unpin to remove them. Pins are personal and saved in your browser, so they don't change anyone else's header.
Right side of the header
Search, the agent launcher, the Knowledge base and Docs (both open in a new tab), the Settings gear, and your account menu. If you belong to more than one organization, the organization switcher is here too.
Settings → Workspace tools (/settings/tools) holds Canvas (visual styles), Publishing (publish history), API (the API reference at /docs/api) and the Knowledge base.
Profiles (/profiles) and Guest stories (/guest-stories) are in no menu. The pages still work, and workspace search finds Profiles.
Where the things you'll use most live
- Write a post → Collections → open one → Posts → New Post. KB-203.
- Change how posts are written → a collection's Control Room → Setup → Writing → Auto-Pen. KB-303.
- Tell the platform who you are → Context. KB-204.
- Connect Webflow, Sanity, Search Console… → Settings → Integrations. KB-211.
- Get an API key → Settings → API Keys. KB-401.
- See what's waiting on you → Approvals (Primitives ▾ → Tools), and the post list's Assigned to me filter.
Pages that redirect
A few older addresses still work and send you to the new place: /position → Context → Identity; /publish → Settings → Publish History; /curate?tool=… → the matching Context, Measure, or Guest stories page.
