Settings

The seven tabs, writing kernel, members, integrations, publish history, API keys, usage, appearance, and who can see each.

Settings is the gear icon in the header. The page header has Workspace tools (the directory of Canvas, Publishing, API and the other settings tools), Export config and Log out; the footer links the privacy policy and terms.

TabWhat's thereWho sees it
Writing KernelThe gallery of voices; pick your organization's default (KB-702)Everyone
MembersMembers and their roles; Invites (KB-104)Admins
IntegrationsSearch Console, Vercel domain provisioning, Daymaker, AirOps (AI answers), Sanity, Contentful, Webflow, Framer, Google Docs, GitHub (with PR targets), Slack (KB-211)Admins
Publish HistoryEvery push to a connector, with statusEveryone
API KeysCreate and revoke keys; the webhook destination (KB-401)Admins (editors see it disabled)
UsageAI credits used, share of allotment, where credits wentEveryone
AppearanceLight, Dark or System, saved per browserEveryone

Kernels you fork and tune yourself, rather than pick from the gallery, aren't in Settings: they live at Primitives → Kernels under Your kernels, and only your organization sees them.

Usage

A meter and a breakdown. When you cross the allotment, the app shows a notice with a scheduling link to set up a plan; reads keep working, and writing resumes once a plan is in place. Over the API: get_usage_summary, get_usage_breakdown.

Webhook destination

Under API Keys, each key has a Webhook button: a URL the platform calls when any article in the organization is published (article.published) or reaches a finished draft (article.finished), and when an arena run pauses or settles, with a secret to sign the call. The full list is on /docs/webhooks. Leave it blank for no notifications. CLI: letterstory flows webhook set --url … --secret ….

Branding

Logo, fonts, and colours aren't a Settings tab: they live with the visual styles on the Canvas page and on each phantom site's Settings.
